Autumn beginning

So it's officialy autumn now the season most people hate, the season where the sun stops and the cold comes.

I put together an outfit for a typical autumns day, my ripped jeans were perfect for this as they can relate to the end of some with the ripped knees but still keep you warm.
Also with the leaves changing colour in my garden I thought this was a perfect back drop and shows the beauty of autum.

I added my "pointy witch shoes" as my sister calls them to the outfit as there still summery.

Going Formal

My simple white dress from Lipsy is great for those parties and dinner outings with friends and family.
The elegant lace top with sequins sewn into it makes this dress that much prettier and classy.
I paired it with a nude clutch wanting to keep the colours subtle.
My make up i did as normal but added eyeliner flicks and my red lipstick. Hair, i used a doughnut and twisted it downwards towards my head to make it a messy bun.

Sandal sales

Now summers coming to an end all the shops have been hosting sales and I managed to pick up the shoes I have been dreaming of for months for only £10.50!
H! Is one of my fave shops in debenhams but it's a tricky one to shop in if you have little money, I always look for bargains and i was so pleased when I spotted them in the sale!

I styled them with my new outfit, I was feeling very hippy!

Inspired look.

My new pink skirt is now one of my favourites.

I got my inspiration for this outfit from Ann Margret in the movie Viva Las Vegas, where she wears a middi pink skater skirt with a white top and i instantly fell in love.
Then as i walked into Dorothy Perkins a couple days after watching it i saw this and fell in love. It was exactly what i was looking for.

A summers outfit

As the weathers getting hotter and hotter I'm struggling to find a cute outfit that all goes together!

Hunting through my wardrobe I put this tapestry peice together.
This skirt was bought a couple weeks back from the topshop sale I knew I had to get it as soon as I saw it!!!

Putting a plain white crop with it and a ruffle cardigan I've had for years I thought it worked well.

Adding my cowboy like tassle bag it completed the outfit.
And of course my favourite shoes had to be with this peice, jujus! Being a shimmery pearly colour they didn't make my outfit over the top.

Fashion Show!!

These two days were both stressful and amazing. It was so much fun having our designs in the fashion show as well as me (Lydia) being IN the show! Firstly, here are some photos i have of our designs in the fashion show. From both Going Dotty and Culture Fusion projects.
Next are some behind the scenes photos and photos of garments i was modeling who were made and designed by students in the year above doing a fashion degree.
Make-up done by Mac.
Featuring a friend, Katy who modeled with me.

The floral kimono

So this weeks post is about summer and with summer you want to feel stylish but not sweaty and horrible.
So I'm styling my beautiful topshop crochet playsuit in this post and I'm showing wearing a kimono can completely turn it into a different outfit.
Kimonos are the perfect item for summer, so light to carry if your to hot and can make an outfit look cute!
I tried out another way you could wear one and found this way looked sweet.
I then styled it with my favourite primark necklace, reminds me of roman money!
And of course my all time favourite primark chunky sandals!!
Just a quick post on how combining two items of clothing together can turn into two different outfits and you have options to take off or put on the kimono when you are out!

The Little White Tee.

Showing two of my new purchases in this weeks post. My new white top and my sandles.
Starting off casual with my high waisted shorts and sandles. This look can also go with converse (any colour)
Then adding the top with jeans to formalise it but also keeping it casual with my converse.
Also would go well with my sandles.
And finally, for party wear, adding heels with the jeans.

Turning vintage

I have actually fallen in love with my new playsuit i made from an old dress my nan gave to me.
Styled with my new black belt.
Really quick and easy to do. I first cut the dress shorter, then cut in the middle to make two leg wholes. Then i simple sewed each together seperately and hemmed it.

Kind of makes me feel like Ally from the note book. Haha.

Playsuit kind of day

Playsuits are the perfect airy outfit to wear when the sun makes you feel sticky and horrible!

Ecspecially when you've been walking about all day like I have.

This cute little number I picked up from tkmaxx only £12 such a bargain!

My chunky holographic sandals fitted perfectly with this floral piece.
Hope you've all enjoyed this beautiful day!
